Steve Noyes:
Combine the following:
- 2 29 oz cans of tomato sauce, use a name brand, they have less salt added
- 2 10 oz cans of Rotelle tomatoes
- 1/8 cup yellow mustard
- 4 tsp Black Kettle Seasoning Salt
- 1 cup A-1 Steak sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/8 cup honey
I brought it to a simmer to get the flavors mixed in good; then poured it over chicken quarters (country ribs), covered and put in refrigerator for several hours. Cook meat or chicken on stove top, oven, or grill. Bring marinade to a boil for several minutes and serve with meat. Option: reserve half of the marinade to serve with the meat and discard what was used in the refrigerator.
